Yeah. I really didn't love 3 all that much when I first heard it ... but now of course, I do love it, haha. Britney 4 lyfe.

Also, I will admit, I am pretty fond of Bad Romance now. I guess it was just a shock. It did take me quite a few listens to warm up to it though, as I stated in the the article. I was pretty harsh on Gaga, but that's only because I had really, really, really high expectations. I'll always be a Britney die-hard fan at heart though =]

PS- there are some sweeet Gaga and Britney club mixes here: http://www.youtube.com/user/spazdor#p/u/3/IItOfSfEH5w

Check it out!

I may be biased, but I do believe you should give The Fame Monster another chance! Admittedly I am a die hard fan of Lady Gaga and I myself I'm very eclectic in all sorts of music as well. I'm glad to know that you do not have it out for pop music and I apologize for saying so. I respect the removal of your own bias from the review and wish you nothing but success in your journalism career!

As for the article itself, was brought to my attention by an alumnus of the Royal Purple. I myself use to work as a freelance graphic artist at the RP and wish no hate on any of my fellow RP peeps! Just gotta defend Lady Gaga's honor as one of her little monsters!

Sincerely,
Joey

P.S. I loved Britney since her rise on the scene! What do you think of the single 3? I do not think it's her best work at all, much more of an after thought than an actual true Britney song!

This is the author of the review you are critiquing. I am actually a journalist and not a blogger. As a Lady Gaga fan and a huge pop music fan, I removed my bias to review this album. That's my responsibility to the reader. Saying I "have it out for pop music" couldn't be further from the truth. I happen to be one of the hugest Britney Spears fans out there. But I consider myself a music fan, not just a pop fan, because there are so many different and amazing types of music.

It's not my duty to defend anyone's honor, yet it seems you've made it your job to defend Lady Gaga's. I think Lady Gaga is actually one of the best things to hit any music scene, however, I thought her album was rushed. She should have waited to produce something mind-blowing because her first album was such a massive success.

I am a journalist, not a Gaga blogger. Yes, die-hard fans will love Gaga's CD no matter what, but sometimes, you have to look at the overall musical quality, which you obviously disagree with me on, and that's fine. Write your own review next time. Don't sit around and wait for peoples' "negative" opinions and critique as if you aren't bias.
