Finally it has been done. When I am bored or when I am not bored, it doesn’t really matter, I Google Image myself. I like to see myself at the top of the list and well, for a while here I wasn’t! It angered me so much. When I Google: JOEY BROYLES, I expect Joey not Joe Broyles from Ohio who looks like my father as a teenager. Is it possible that my Dad has another kid floating around competing with me on Google Images? Probably not, but the resemblance is a little more than uncanny. Anyways I fixed this problem with posting a bunch of pictures of myself and making damn sure to name them each JoeyBroyles_001.jpg, etc. Here are my results:

Joey is back at the top! Long lost brother: #4!

I’d like to thank Google for creating a new way for one to be vain. I’m definitely happy with the results and will have to stay on top of this, so it doesn’t happen again. The first three images were all mine and that makes me super happy.

In other news Danny and I had a relaxing Easter Sunday. Sometimes you just need to get away from family and make time for yourselves. So we did just that. We spent time with each other! We slept until 10am and then rolled out of bed. I showered and checked my Facebook and Twitter, such addictions! Then we took off to see Adventureland!

I loved it! It was a great movie set in the 80s. One of the greatest decades to do movies in. In fact I don’t think one understands a decade until it has passed and taken time to age. Decades are like wine, not to be appreciated until after they’ve aged. Never mind that I hate all wine! On with the show, Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg are beautiful and amazing and it really had everything you wanted in a movie. So now of course I’m dying to have the soundtrack, but more importantly I want a Games T-shirt from Adventureland! I’ll wait a few weeks to see if Target is cool enough to carry such a shirt and if not I’ll be on the internet searching until I find the exact one.

After the movie we went downtown Madison and toured the Capitol ourselves. Just looking at the pretty insides of the marble beauty. We were there until 4, when they close. We then walked State Street just window shopping and getting exercise. We stopped at the Exclusive Company and I totally wanted all the Melrose Place DVDs, but I guess I’ll start asking for those for my birthday and Christmas.

State Street grew tired of us, so we left and went out to eat at Perkin’s. Where I’m pretty sure our waitress forget to suggest pie, which means we could have collected free pie, oh well I was full anyway. Especially with all this Easter candy, everywhere! I bought way too much, oh well, sweet tooth.

When we got home we just sort of chilled and have been doing our own thing. Of course every so often we bug each other with little fun tid bits of information. But you do need space in a relationship, peeps! Anyhow I’ve been editing Shanikwa’s website and now it’s done. Here’s a screen shot of it’s new beauty, which includes an all new bio!

F.Y.I. Gossip Girl fans, the Easter Bunny brought me Edward Cullen pins and Gossip Girl the Board Game! I played against Danny tonight and finally I beat him. Ha! HA! Ha! I feel as giddy as a school girl! That’s right a school girl. Ain’t no shame! Bitch please! Well I’ve got to start working on this Shanikwa song I’m writing, so later!

Clearly for the past few years you’ve heard of either Stephanie Meyer, Twilight, or Edward in passing conversations. Teenage girl phenomena? No I beg to differ. I’d like to personally thank Stephanie Meyer one day for what she did for me.

I was no longer a reader and in fact the last book I had read was in high school. But then came along this Twilight series. The last book arrived in stores last year and it was now going to become a major motion picture. There was this stir going around the world about vampires again. I loved Anne Rice for her stories such as Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, and Queen of The Damned. As I looked through the Entertainment Weekly magazine with these vampires who could live in sunlight. Stupid, right?

October 31st rolled around and I celebrated Halloween, as Danny drove to Florida to help his parents move. I was alone for six, seven days for a very important election and a very important discovery. While I was alone I decided after work one night to go to Wal-Mart and buy some comfort food. I walked out with some pizza, soda, apples and Twilight. Well I didn’t read it at first and wondered why on earth did I buy a book. Well I had Twilight all to myself for the next six days. I finished the book before Danny returned and I was now in love! I finished Breaking Dawn just a few days after my birthday in December. Ahhhh.

These books are a beautiful thing and I’m glad to have them be a part of my life. Now the movie on the other hand is its own package. Robert Pattinson takes Edward to his own place and I like that place a whole lot, so haters get over it. Catherine Hardwicke took Twilight to the place it needed to go and it was amazing. I’m sad to say I won’t be going to a Twilight DVD release party, but I’m happy to say that Twilight will be in my hands Monday night:

TWILIGHT from Target Only!

I do admit that Wal-Mart has taken this a little overboard:

This is at the Super Wal-Mart in Madison, WI.

Now of course how stupid is it that there are no guy t-shirts or guy Twilight anything? Oh wait I know! Only girls are allowed to fall in love with these books and the movies! Totally makes sense to me. I’m so over society’s bullshit.
"In the early 1900s, color became popular and people who chose to dress their children in conventional colors were advised to dress girls in blue and boys in pink. Blue was considered delicate and exquisite and pink strong and masculine."

All of you who think as moronic as pink is for girls, blue is for boys. If we’re really going to have to be politically correct about everything, let us let go of pink for girls, blue for boys. It’s so ridiculous because once in our history the colors were reversed: pink is an origin of red, thus meaning, strength and masculinity and blue was considered to be delicate. Wow what fools we are. Read this article and GOOGLE more if you don’t believe! Clearly I’m on the right track here.

Back to Twilight and other girly phenomena. Is there a society in the world who does not think as backwards as we do? If there is please let me know, otherwise I’m moving to Mars with Dr. Manhattan and his peaceful red planet!

Back on Earth. I finished wiring L/R wires through my office wall/living room wall and hooked it up to our stereo in the living room. Now when I edit my movies I can both watch and hear them in the living room. Thanks Dad for the two 20 ft wires! They were seriously sitting in a box collecting dust, but now they will help out my hobby immensely. Yay for Shanikwa because her movie has three complete finished scenes, at least visually finished.

I spent most of yesterday or today, however you look at it, Thursday night, Friday morning. I spent Thursday doing laundry, editing my movie and hanging out with my family. I’m glad to say that my sister Jackie is now a proud owner of one of those Twilight Tote Bags, super jealous, but boys like action movies and chicks, so I digress. Fuck that I like gooey teen angst and boys!

Goodnight Bitches!
