I’ve been working on this for a few days and I’ve got it just right. I’ve still got to rerecord vocals and polish the instruments but Nuts And Berries will definitely be available in later fall for y’all to listen to. Until then, here’s the album artwork.

Thanks for visiting my blog and site!

I have rereleased the video If U Luv Me Google Me on YouTube. Originally released in late 2009, but I thought it was time to bring it up to the front one last time. I’m currently making a remix to the song via request from some of my fans. Enjoy the video below and I’ve also attached the lyrics.

Google Me Boy IF U LUV ME GOOGLE ME Music Video

So this year so far I have not made any other videos other than this one at work. We had a crazy man customer in and well, you’ll see after you watch this video. This is a rare video of me completely losing it. I had no idea I had every laugh known to man stuck inside of me. I’m telling you this crazy man was bat-shit crazy. He is sure to influence many a video in the future. Watch it:

In other news I’ve been doing a lot of cartoon drawings which started with Lady Gaga. Now I’ve done one of my boyfriend and one of my friend Monica. I think they look pretty cool. I’m still an amateur, because I draw that on a computer and not on paper. I’d say about six months ago I could not have done these kinds of graphic drawings at all! I have to say that by the time I got to work on Monica(which is my newest piece) I think I’ve found my niche. Check it out:

I made a lot of goals for myself this year but I’m pretty excited for the unexpected things I’ve done that were not on the list. But I still want to write and produce a follow up to my Google Me song. I will start that next Tuesday.

Until then Bitches!

I want to let everyone know that this weekend I had a blast having a very unique birthday party. I wanted a masquerade birthday, but with the flair of Lady Gaga’s crazy style. So we had what I called: LORD JOEY’S GAGA MASQUERADE BIRTHDAY BASH and it was so fun.

The invitations.

The invitations.

Redesigning my apartment was probably the most fun! I covered the walls in random sayings or lyrics that Lady Gaga sings or says. I did a lot of that “Pop ate my heart” and “Pop ate my brain” stuff from her video shorts that she has used in concerts. Imagine an entire apartment living room covered with Gagaisms. “I want your psycho” covered a lot of one wall. I made these creepy hot pink hearts with ventricles and I even made a paper brain and stuck it to the ceiling. I covered my mirror with a sheet of black lace and painted words on the mirror like “DRAMA” and “VERTIGO” and “ROMANCE”. I will try and take pictures, before my boyfriend has me take it all down.

When people arrived to the masquerade I had a sign that said “Welcome to the Masquerade” and I had bright work lights in front of the door. When you opened the door everyone got blinded by the lights! For the fashion part we had this large 6 foot painting that I threw a white sheet over so we could take pictures in front of a background. We also had a camera setup that stayed in one spot and randomly took pictures throughout the evening.

Of course I had every Lady Gaga song, some of her unknowns and import singles as well. For every fourth Lady Gaga song played I did throw a couple of other pop songs in, so people wouldn’t be overwhelmed. I also made many weird mini films of my own that played silently on the t.v. along with her music videos and some of her “Pop ate my heart” and “Pop ate my brain” videos and some Andy Warhol videos as well. I really wanted the party to feel like an exhibit, if you will, of Lady Gaga. I made it themed and visually covered my apartment in her world of pop culture, fashion, music, and performance art.

On to costumes. People were so clever with their outfits and masks and makeup and even their facial attachments. I was very impressed and proud of my friends! I’ll be sure to post lots of those pictures as well!

Lady Gaga Birthday Bash

I, myself, wore a collaboration of her looks for the evening. I liked the look of the hair from her Paparazzi video and the lipstick. But I loved her Maison Michel bunny ears so much that I made my own. For the rest of the look I really liked her “Pop ate my heart” video. I wore a black vinyl vest over a black hoodie and when you unzipped my hoodie it revealed that pop, indeed, ate my heart! I switched back and forth from the Mickey Mouse looking sunglasses and the Maison Michel inspired bunny ears throughout the evening.

For one of my presents I received an awesome Marilyn Monroe wig from my friend Kelly, so at one point her and I left the room and switched me out of my wig into the Marilyn. I came back into the room carrying a boom box that played Bad Romance. I swung my disco stick(eBay) and made everyone join in the “fashion train” as I lip synced her song! Then we had my delicious hot pink cake and played some fun games! All in all Lady Gaga really inspired me to have an awesome birthday party!

Tomorrow is my actual birthday and I will be 26! Hope I can manage to be as amazing and famous as Lady Gaga!

So as you probably already know by now that I’m completely, beyond obsessed with the existence and the very movement of Lady Gaga. I’m in love with her! She is an amazing performance artist and can perform and sing live and do it well! Finally someone who doesn’t lip sync who gets me just as excited about music. My heart races every time she walks on stage(my computer stage) and sits down to perform. You never know what she’ll come up with next. God bless her and her crew at Haus of Gaga!

Well I’m having a masquerade party this holiday season for my birthday and well she has inspired me so much that you’ll just have to look and see what she has made me create! :)

Lady Gaga Inspiration Mask

Obviously it isn’t as amazing as her mask, but it definitely pleases me that I could even get it somewhat right. Of course if I had the big bucks I’d make it all out of leather and get the gold grommets and the beautiful gold chains, instead of gold thread… But who cares I’m happy with it’s amazing-ness!

Long live the Queen of Pop and Pop Culture!

On Friday night, Danny and I ventured over to the West side of Madison. He decided we should explore more of Odana Road since we really never go over there. (Perhaps because when you see the Mall to your left, why turn right?) So we decided to go to St. Vincent De Paul’s store. Well it is very much a Goodwill, but without all the corporate bullshit. So here we were aimlessly wandering and I found her. The one I wanted to bring home. This ridiculous cookie jar. This offensive cookie jar, stereo typing over weight women. Yet this cookie jar spoke volumes of truth! Here look for yourself!

Cookie Lady!

Cookie Lady!

As soon as I saw her I had to have her. So I called Danny over to the shelf where she sat on her big ass. I said, “Isn’t it great? I want it.”

He laughed at it but he clearly saw the humor in it. “How much is it?”

“$6.50.” And he agreed we needed this woman to come home with us. So that we could fill her with what she desperately needed… COOKIES! So tonight I filled her up. She takes about 3 dozen cookies to fill her all the way up. Look:

Apparently there are many kitchen pieces, as well as calendars, and other merchandise to match this beautiful creature. But I think the appeal for me is that she makes a statement in the kitchen all by herself. I don’t need to deck my whole kitchen in Cookie Ladies, she and she only is my kitchen’s mistress! Special thanks to St. Vinney’s!

Earlier tonight I went out to the grocery store to buy some cookie dough, because I was craving cookies, again. I am completely capable of making chocolate chip cookies by hand, but I really didn’t want to go through all the fuss to clean my disastrous kitchen. So I bought the bucket of cookie dough to fill up my Cookie Lady’s body. Well on the way to the store that damn song came on again. Love Sex Magic by Ciara featuring Justin Timberlake. The last time I heard this song was when I was on my search of Girl Scout Cookie Ice Cream. So this is now dubbed my cookie song! Love Sex Magic and Cookies! Oh and check out the hot cover art of Ciara and Justin. Oooh baby!

Justin you sure know who to collaborate with!
Well we tested my computers talent to the max today. We watched a free download of that new Kings show: played on my computer, watched and enjoyed in my living room. There were a few glitches due to the digital era, but all in all, it was fun to watch with no commercials. Perhaps I’m ancient in age, but back in the day, I recall that cable was what you wanted, because it had few or no commercials. Yeah that lasted long, NOT!

I’m happy to report my POP CULTURE PREDICTION (PCP)! I predict that boy bands are on a verge of comeback. They’ve been surfacing here and there but here are some boys that might be sending Jonas Brothers packing. Just as Hanson went through the same predicament.

V FACTORY:

To be honest when I first heard both their singles on the radio, I thought, Justin Timberlake? Do you have a new single? But then I realized there were several different vocals, and not as mature as Justin’s. But none the less, I was excited. Honestly I don’t care if Target Boy oogles over my future purchases of these boy band cds. They are the epitome of Pop music and I love sweet love songs and mind-grinding-repetitious-synthesized-beats with pretty little melodies. Ahhh boy bands. They cancelled TRL too soon, maybe The CW will reinvent that too. Who knows, Carson Daly totally needs a job that isn’t late night.

This blog is running out of words. Watch this video!
